TATA is now among the world’s 50 most valuable brands
The TATA brand is now the world’s 50th most valuable brand. Not only that this is the first time the TATA brand has broken into the prestigious top 50 league, it is also the first time any Indian brand has wrested that position. So, once again, we lead India to a global league!
In 2011, the TATA brand has been valued at $15.08 billion, improving its rank from 65th in 2010, when it was valued at $11.21 billion. The Tata Motors Group has made the maximum contribution. The other top contributors are the Tata Steel Group and TCS. Over a five-year period, the value of the TATA brand has appreciated 100% from $7.38 billion in 2007.
The annual study is done by Brand Finance plc, the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy.
